The F.C.I. meanwhile site was initiated by architect Akiko Kobayashi on a site owned by former E.D.I..

Civic Soup assisted in the organisation of a Design Jam, inviting the public to sketch out ideas to diversify the usage of an existing Wikihouse. Some of these were implemeted through a series of workshops.

A speculative proposal for meanwhile use of an adjacent derelict site across the canal was also developed.
